I love this lantern! It works very well and the battery life is amazing! It is bright enough when i need it and dim enough when I only need a little light. It's great for camping or fishing. I would definitely recommend.

I rotated this lamp into my camping gear, and it works great in a tent as a modest light, hanging from the center. It’s held up well to the minor abuse of camping, and has delivered light without drama. It’s surprisingly light for its size (~11.5oz)Pros:+solar charging - if you remember to set it in the sun it won’t need to be plugged in to charge+two light modes - warm white for ambience, bright white for reading+provides a good amount of light - I would guess in the 200-300 lumen range, good light diffuser+power knob allows you to continuously vary the light level (some lamps only have 2-3 levels)+weather resistant (charging port has a silicone plug), big carrying/hanging handle+light, almost all weight is in base (11.5oz)Cons:-no fuel gauge for the battery - no way to tell if you are close to needing to recharge (there is a small LED that will flash if its charging and plugged in, but that’s not enough)-only average quality for the price - the USB plug feels a little flimsy like it won’t take much abuse, the power switch is a little quirky, and sometimes I have to turn it on twiceOver all, a decent lantern. I like the look, the light it puts out, and the solar charging. Recommended.

These didn't quite do what I was hoping for. I wanted something that will charge during the day and automatically turn on at night. These do not do that, and that is fine, as it still works for camping or just walking around in the yard at night. But the knob stopped working on one of the two lanterns, which made it impossible to turn on. I had to throw the one away. Otherwise, the one that does work charges well and lasts overnight. I also appreciate that you can charge it by cord in cases of inclement weather. There are a few different settings to adjust the brightness and the temperature of the light, which is nice. Overall, not bad for a camping lantern, but take note that the knob may stop working.

When the power goes out, these lanterns provide a nice stable light source. Nice design.
