(THIS IS A LONG POST SO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW GREAT THESE ARE) I bought this set for my 2008 chevy HHR. (THE ORIGINAL KEY BROKE OFF IN THE DOOR) And I had a little doubt it would actually work. The last time before the the last time I lost my keys, I had to go to a junk yard find an ignition with a key in it, hoping I could relearn the key, sounds simple but I went to many different junk yards multiple times looking for what I needed, plus I was really broke. The last time I lost my keys. I called a locksmith. He promptly charged me $380 for ONE KEY, and told me for $50 he could make another. Now just so happens my broken OG turns the ignition it's just snapped in half and the chip is long gone. So what I did was bought this set for like $14 got them the next day, I took the broken key and laid it on top of the blank and did I 2 light sprays over them with spray paint and literally with a Milwaukee angle finder just cut away along the markings and voila it worked. Did a 30 minute relearn procedure and my car started up. I definitely wanna percent Recommend this product

I used this blank transponder equipped key as a spare for my 2011 Chevy Malibu. Took the blank key to Ace Hardware, had them cut the key to match my original. Tested the now cut key in the car's door; it worked. Then programmed the new key in the Malibu's ignition switch. It took only seconds to accomplish. Then started the car with the new key; it works great, no issues. Highly recommended as the dealer will charge around $65 for a single new key.

The physical key doesn't match the OEM key, it doesn't have the proper notch and more importantly the neith key chip would program with the car. Bought an OEM key and it worked perfectly so it has to be the chip in this key

Paid a locksmith to cut . Keys won't program to work in the ignition like stated and the reason for my purchase . It only can unlock my door . Unsatisfied and returning the item .
