I was hoping to just take the board and key out of my original and replace them into these but there is a slight difference on the spring mechanism so its not a direct swap.

Supaland has made a great replacement key/fob for my Cruze (and other GM cars, I suppose). This one feels nicer, like better plastics and rubber. The key spring and latch action are really strong and solid. Getting the key cut on these is not simple, and the shop you use should practice on a cheap blank before cutting these. Mine did and they work perfectly in the ignition and door lock. Programming was easy with my OBDII scanner, but there is a method to do it without a scanner, if you Google it you will find videos of it.The range seems as good as OEM, in that I can pop the trunk from inside my house (even if I didn't intend to). I can lock/unlock from across the parking lot at Vons. This is as goo as I ever could.For $12.50 each, and that they are a perfect fit, this is a great deal!
