I purchased 2 of these and neither one worked. Unfortunately I could not get to the locksmith to try to get the second one programed in time to know this and am out the cost of this nonfunctional item. Lesson learned.cindy

There was no chip inside. Unusable. Waste of money

Works for my 2017 Tacoma TRD Sport with push start. Only downside is that it doesn’t come with a Toyota logo on the back.

Rented Tom’s Key fob duplicatee for my 2019 Tacoma Off-Road and it worked perfect and took two minutes. You must have a working key to duplicate.

Bought this for a 2017 Toyota Tacoma. My locksmith was very suspicious about the product at the beginning and up front he was not sure if the remote could be programmed to the car. 30 seconds into the programming sequence we were both very pleased to see the remote is responding and has been properly programmed. The remote has good quality and after a few weeks it is still in good working order. I do not suspect any issue going forward. I recommend this product.
