If you have ever had a two or more piece rod, you know sometimes it's hard to get them apart.The loon ferrule wax is perfect to prevent rods from sticking together. They come apart with ease!

Never really knew how to make separating a 2 piece easily. Researched on line and found out how. First clean up your ferrule. I used a q tip and a little alcohol to clean out female connection then with a small cloth and alcohol cleaned up the male connection. Then I lightly rubbed on the wax and connected the 2 pieces. They went together much easier and low and behold they separated just as easily. Didn’t try it on a full day of casting but this little demo was convincing enough to me that life will be easier from now on when I separate my rods

Use this on my 2 piece saltwater Ugly Stik Catfish Rod 7ft MH and it makes putting the rod together a much smoother process. It comes apart much easier and stays together much easier. Wasn’t sure if this was worth purchasing but I’ll definitley buy another when Michael me runs low. Keep in mind one tube of this last about 50+ teardowns at least. Also I use this everytime I fish and apply a fresh coat and wipe off the old which may be over kill and the container still has a ton left. Feels like a very thick candle wax that is somewhat sticky. Black In color and no smell.
