These are better than the picture and better than I thought. Really bright and pretty. Worked right out of the box. Very happy with my purchase. I am glad I bought 2 boxes of the 2 pack.

Very easy to decorate outdoors. Bulbs illuminate a soft glow. Great for all year!

These are solar so they can be used anywhere they can get daylight. Real glass with a crackled effect. They come with strings and alligator clamps for hanging, we used the clamps to hang them on our small palm tree. Medium bright. 4 stars because they are very easily damaged inside when you open them to turn on the dawn/dusk switch. Touch only the switch and don’t over tighten the light when you reassemble or the base will break. I ended up taping some of them to make sure they were tight enough to hold the glass globe.

I've got about a dozen or so of the warm white version of these lights (from a different seller) hanging on the branches of a decorative tree in the front of our house, and I absolutely love them. I thought it would be really fun to be able to add some colored lights amongst the white lights for the holidays, and I had high hopes when I received these beauties...The glass of the globes is gorgeous and there were no flaws to be found, but when I turned them on to test them before hanging them, I noticed that they didn't seem very bright. I brushed it off thinking that it was probably because I was checking them out during the day, and merrily went about hanging them on the branches of the tree. Later that night I went excitedly to the window to see them in all their glory, but what I saw was my white globe lights glowing brightly, and these colored lights glowing so dimly I could hardly see them past the others, and I could just barely tell there was color to them. I figured maybe it was that they didn't get the best charge during the day because although it was a sunny day, I didn't hang them until later in the afternoon. So the next night I peeked out the window hoping they would be bright, cheery and colorful, as they had now received a full day of sun to charge, but I was disappointed to find the same scene as the night before.I think if I were to hang these lights somewhere closer to the house and without the other globe lights, they would be easier to see and appreciate, but they just can't compete with the other lights (which aren't even all that bright, honestly). If a person was planning on hanging them in an area close by where there is no other competing light (like on a porch) I think they'd turn out to be lovely, but sadly, they just didn't work out for my use. Like I said above, the colored glass globes are beautiful, but they unfortunately can't show off that beauty with the dim little lights they come with.
