Nice and easy to set up with a good amount of space. If you need something for easy transport then this is a great go-to, or to have something that's space saving for emergencies. Especially for cats it's great to have the toilet a bit separate from the rest of the space, helps keep things neat and tidy. I wouldn't use it for long term containment but on an as-needed basis it's fantastic!

With all the wildfires here in Los Angeles these past few weeks, we quickly realized we needed to be more prepared should we receive an evacuation notice. Having no children, one of my biggest concerns was to make sure my sweet cat had a go-bag already prepped so we could grab it and leave at a moment's notice. Without knowing where we would end up sheltering when evacuated, I wanted to make sure my sweet 18lb tabby has a safe place outside of his pet carrier should we end up someplace unfamiliar. I also wanted to make sure there was additional space for his litter box that he could easily access.This Luckitty Portable Cat Playpen seemed to check all the boxes for me. He's a big boy so the size of the pen is very generous and comfortable for him, but he's also very skittish so it was important that the pen didn't make him feel too exposed. I like that it has a solid fabric roof so he can feel a little hidden and that both sections fold up into a single neat pouch when not in use. He immediately got inside it when I popped it open and was still assembling it. He digs it!My only issue is that I had to watch the folding video a couple times to figure out how to fold it up again. Once you know how to do it, it's easy but I took off one star because it wasn't very intuitive.Now that it has finally arrived and cat approved, I feel relieved! His go-bag is prepped and ready for any emergency.

I have used one-room cat playpens, but this is the first one that consists of two separate units that can be connected to form a separate litterbox room plus the main living area.The ad promotes its use outdoors, but this playpen doesn't provide loops to stake it to the ground. If I had the playpen set up in the cargo area of my SUV, I would still like loops to tether it securely. Rolled-up window covers could add protection from the weather.I'm concerned about the small-tooth zippers. The zippers arrived partly unzipped, and it took me several times to zip and unzip them to get them to "self-mend." A larger-tooth zipper would less likely have a problem.My two cats are happy with their playpen in the living room.Full Disclosure: I received this product for free from the Vine program.
