I can't say enough how much I enjoy these products. Easy to use great for camping or power outage. Hold battery for a long time. Quick to charge by plug or if in the wild can charge with solar. Different brightness settings is also a nice feature.

With electricity going out frequently we bought several of these lanterns. They produce lots of light, and the light is of pleasant quality. They look like a Japanese lantern, and my wife finds them aesthetically pleasing. Lighting levels can be adjusted. A small button on top reveals current level of charge. They fold down flat for easy storage, and the handle is well-designed. Light & easy to carry. We don't use the phone charging feature, as we prefer to charge our phones separately & save the lantern battery for our lighting needs. It has a solar panel for recharging, but it's small and takes a long time. We prefer to use our separate Big Blue 28 watt solar panel for recharging, which can be used for lanterns or phones, and charges the lantern much faster than the small built-in solar panel on top of the lantern. We really like these lanterns, enough that we now own 5 of them. Makes it easy to leave them in multiple locations in our home during extended power outages.

I’ve had the smaller version of this lantern for about a year now and love it so much for camping, or even for power outages so when I saw this version I knew I had to try it out and I’m so glad I did.Just used this sweet little unit camping in the backcountry where it gets VERY dark at night. One thing I’ve learned over the years, is that you can never have enough light out there. This lantern puts out a lot of light at the highest setting, almost too much in my tent, so I used the second or third dimmest setting the most - which also saves the most power so that’s a bonus too. I also used it to charge my Apple Watch one day and it charged it within 20 minutes!! My charger at home is much longer so I’m really impressed with how much power this unit puts out.Only downside is how long it takes to recharge in the sun - but it is a small solar panel so guess that is expected. Next time I’m out camping, I’ll use my power bank to charge electronics and keep the lantern for lights and for charging when I have no other choice. you know, just in case it gets rainy and I can’t charge with solar.Overall,, I love this company and the lanterns they sell. They’re great quality in a world filled with Meh quality items - I will definitely be purchasing more.

So, if you are like me, I like to always have a compact but comprehensive survival bag ready for any emergencies. This solar LED fits the bill perfectly. Why, you ask? Well, first of all, it's a solar-based lantern. That means as long as I get sunshine, I can charge its internal power bank. This is indeed a true survival power source. Secondly, it's thin. If you take the air out, it flattens, and you can slide it right inside most backpacks or gym bags... I like that. The other thing I like about the model I ordered is that it can charge two phones at once. It comes with USB A and USB C outputs and can power 2 devices at once. Of course, if you do that, it will drain the battery quickly. But say if you need to quickly charge your phone and walkie-talkie at the same time, then you have an option.I'm not super sure about the battery capacity, but based on my test, it used approximately (but not too sure as it only shows you 4 indicators of charge status) more than half of its charge to fully charge an iPhone 15 pro max that was at 8%. So, it looks like its capacity is like that of a typical power bank. I would have hoped the capacity would be larger, but it's still not bad. Speaking of battery status, well, there's a button you press, and there are 4 LED indicators that show you how much battery is left. It's not the best kind, but at least there's some indication. Now aside from charging your phones and other devices, it also needs to be charged. So you have two options: solar, which stands out, and using a typical USB cable. Charging it with a USB cable takes a couple of hours for a full charge, which is normal. But charging it with solar is kind of a pain. I think the solar panel doesn't output as much power as I hoped. So, I have yet to be able to fully charge this using its solar power in a full day of sunshine. Now, to be fair, the ad does indicate it could take up to 30 hours of direct sunshine. So that is one of the biggest downsides for me. According to the ad, again, you could use the lantern between 2 to 130 hours, depending on the power settings. So technically, if a small amount of light is all you need, you should be fine. It should brighten up your nights enough to see your tent, prepare your meal etc. and top it off the next day.But speaking of the light, well, the brightest setting is supposed to last around 2 hours, and the ad says it gives you 600 lumens. I'm not sure if it's really that bright. Especially the flashlight is not that bright. The lantern is okay. It's not super bright, but it gives you enough light for your surroundings to get by. Again, this is really meant for survival/emergency cases. So, for that reason, it's perfect. Technically, most people have bright flashlights, etc. Overall, although there are pros and cons, I tend to see more pros. I only wish that they would have included a more powerful solar panel and a bit more battery capacity at this price point.
