Great idea but heads-up. They will work as intended. You need to make sure you get the two wires pushed up as far as you can before compressing. My problem is that I tend to be a bit ham handed. These things are pretty small. I found that in order to hold them while inserting the wire, I would want to hold them by the flatter and fatter sides. Unfortunately, that is where you compress them to lock them, so I would accidentally close it before I got the wires in. There is no practical way to undo that action, so I would ruin that part and need to grab a new one. I know it's me, not the product. Just try not to push it together before inserting the wires.
