My teen and I both love this sandbag set. It’s durable and easy to fill, plus the straps are heavy duty and haven’t broken after several weeks of use. They are easy to grip, making workouts easier. These are nice.

This is a nice sandbag set for those of us who are not extremely strong. Some people will want a larger, heavier bag, but for the rest of us it works great. The outer and inner bags are all sturdy fabric, with good zippers and Velcro closures. It is a little tricky to squeeze individual bags into the large outer, but once inside they fit just fine. There are also many different straps on the outside which allow multiple variations for lifting and carrying. The “kettlebell” is a nice addition to the set, allowing for other workout options beyond basic sandbag movements. Its handle is comfortable and ergonomic, and the bag seems to at least somewhat resemble a standard kettlebell (without the rigidity of course).I don’t know about the long-term durability of stitching on the bags, though so far I have not had any problems with ripping. That seems to be the main issue that others have experienced. Time will tell whether they hold up okay, and I may need to update my rating later. At this point I’m quite happy with the design and function of the whole set. As a bonus, when I’m not using them I store them in the (covered) bed of our truck for additional winter traction.

I will admit, subjectively, I love these sandbags. I've owned one other sandbag, and that required you to sew the top closed (I don't sew, so epoxy it was). But this has done it right, and used a zipper. You'll see reviews on any sandbag that complains that it didn't come with sand, but that's very common. You loading your own sand helps cut down the shipping costs massively. loading the sand can be a little annoying, but just do b it outside and have a reasonable scale with you. What i love about this bag is the fact that it's adjustable as a sandbag, but versatile as exercise equipment. If you want to load up the full 90 lbs (I wouldn't. More on that later.), you can throw it across your back and go for a challenging hike, or you can use the individual bags as kettle or dumbbells.Where this doesn't get the full 5 star treatment is I'm not convinced this will be able to carry the full 90 lbs for very long. I would load up the full weight to do some short walks, squats, and whatever else I thought I could accomplish without falling. But whenever I picked it up by the straps, I could hear the seams struggling a little bit, and this was only a couple of weeks use.So I decided to drop the individual bags down to 25 lbs, and that seemed to help out, at the very least, a little bit. I'm still a little weary about 75 lbs, but so far, it seems like it was the better move. But not getting the full 90 lbs treatment is what unfortunately, gets a great product knocked down to 4 stars.

I hadn't considered anything like this until just recently and I'm glad I gave it a try. After filling up the bag I used it for a hiit workout doing squats, shoulder press, cleans, lunges, and bench dips. Really like the bag since I could use it for multiple exercises and it is way more comfortable than using a plate.I've found some small grains of sand that work their way out somehow, but it isn't a big deal for my garage gym. It wears me out quickly, but adds a bit of variety into the routine.
