It's what it says it is. Fine mesh. Made of copper. Well packaged. Flexible. Can be cut like cloth. Perfect for shielding the control cavity of your guitar.

My wife was thrilled to get this very nice quality copper mesh for her crafts and jewelry. She says she liked how it was packaged and would recommend it.

We get mice in the winter and they came up into the first floor for the first time (at least that we noticed) this year so I used this stuff to seal up all the pipe and other holes coming up from our basement. The copper won't react with copper pipes and it lasts. It's easy to cut and just shove a good-sized piece around the pipes where they go through the wood studs. It works for sure although who knows where those mice are coming from.

This is a nice semi-tight weave mesh of pure copper in a roll that's almost 2 feet long. Plenty of material here to work with for jewelry scale and small sculpture projects. The tightness of the weave makes this a great candidate for enamel, both liquid and sifted (with a holding agent)The flexibility is really lovely- it has a nice drape to it and folds really well. I tried to get a photo showing how fluid it is when flexed. When I put the torch to a small piece of it, there was a little burn off - not sure if it's from the manufacturing process or if there's a lightweight coating on the mesh, but I recommend pre-firing it in a well-ventilated area if you're going to use it for enamel or soldered constructions, as the residue is an unknown. This one cut easily with my office shears, although I wouldn't recommend using light weight scissors on this for a lot of cuts. It cut super easy with my straight shear and a guillotine shear as well, so if you're using this in a metals studio, you're going to have no trouble. It pleats nicely and is even lightweight enough for some basic origami pieces. If you want to wire embroider on it, I think you could easily get 24 gauge wire through the holes - maybe even 22 gauge if it's well-annealed.I see myself getting more of this for use in my mixed media classes and plan on seeing what other options its available in.
