Poor quality the pvc covering is so thin and it doesn't stick to or add any strength to the foil which rips like aluminum foil.

Zero star if I could. This product is not aluminum or insulated. It’s very thin plastic. Amazon should crack down on scammers like this. Wasting people’s time and resources shipping junk.

This is decent quality 3" dryer hose, however I would not call it insulated. It's a thin PVC film over Aluminum Foil. It comes with 2 correct sized hose clamps, and has a nice shiny black appearance.. I am setting up mine for use as an inlet to suck cooler ground level air into my camper while the roof fan pumps the hot air out. It fits 3" flanges well, is an easy but tight fit. Functions well, flexing easily yet the wire don't let it collapse. I feel it is a more than fair value, but again it is not insulated with fiberglass or anything, it's just foil thin.

This is a light duty flexible dryer vent style hose, only in a 3 inch size. It fits the 3 inch fittings I am using properly, and it is wiring well. Keep in mind that this is for light duty use, it is not thick, and there is no type of insulation other than the reflective properties of the silver foil inside. Since it is light duty you need to exercise care when opening and stretching it out, or putting it over fittings. For my use, as part of a small ventilation stem, is works quite well, and the black exterior is not as hard on the eyes as the ones that are silver foil on the outside. I think this is well worth the inexpensive asking price, and for light duty use I can recommend it.
