The spring for the lock mechanism is too strong so the electric lock actuator is not strong enough to move it. I had to change it with the original spring that came with the handle that I replaced. Then when I closed the tailgate the plastic handle that pulls the control rods to the latches broke leaving the tailgate locked in the closed position and with the cover on the bed I was locked out. I needed to break in to my bed in order to activate the latch mechanism from the inside of the tailgate. It is past the return window so I basically wasted my money.

The plastic was really bad quality and I have to brake it to open the trunk because it was stuck
