This Snare has a great sound. For A beginner you can't go wrong adding this Snare... to your drum Kit. It looks Great, is build though, and best of all.... Great accessible Price.

I have to say, for the price, this thing is worth more. The sound quality is amazing, and it is well built. I LOVE the throw switch, and is the easiest to switch back without missing a beat.
