It takes a little fitting to get this trim piece over the shifter, but it can be done. I would test fit first, then remove, just so you know how the install works. Clean the current trim surface with isopropyl alcohol, pull the strips exposing the thin adhesive tape, wrestle it over the shifter, and then fit front to back. It does cover up the Synch text on the current trim, but does look nice.

Great way to cover up the chrome color that started to peel. Takes minutes to install, just peel and stick on top the existing gear shift base. Love how it looks!

It's me, I don't care for chrome trim. Never have. This cover has a nice gloss black finish and attaches with pre-installed 3M tape. Easy and cheap, no complaints!
