Returned, voltage too high!

We had a Thunderstorm and a lighting strike took out our refrigerator and when we replaced it the cost was so high that we needed to better protect the new unit so I ordered this Refrigerator Surge Protector with double outlets, voltage and current protector for home appliances with an adjustable time delay that protects against spike and instant surge, all voltage abnormalities and protects against brownout.Now when we have a storm and out power flickers I don't stress like I used to, I highly recommend this surge protector.

This item provides for voltage surges protection, also voltage fluctuations, and you can see exactly the power your appliances are using.It is build solid, works well and is very easy to install. I used the screws included and hung from screws and used the included adhesive wall fastener also so very solid on the wall.Note I had a very nice refrigerator in the garage and I believe that a power surge caused electronic unit failure, and believe that this low cost item will help prevent that to my refrigerator and freezer.

Picked up this Refrigerator Surge Protector for our old fridge in the garage. The old refrigerator isn't as energy efficient and will sometimes draw more current which sets off the GFCI outlet. Using this surge protector, I haven't had much of an issue as of late. The surge protector will get set off whenever there's a spike in voltage and what I like about this is that it saves the GFCI outlet from having to be reset. I also like how the surge protector has two outlets and can power and protect two separate devices. This is a must have for older homes that don't necessarily have GFCI outlets installed. So far this has been a welcome addition to my garage and has made using the old refrigerator a lot easier and less worrisome.

I have this connected to one of my refrigerators. So far it's working well. It's showing a pretty steady 124 volts for my refrigerator. I have the green light which means everything is good. So far I haven't mounted it. I have it sitting on a chair next to the fridge. I don't want to make any holes in the wall at the moment so haven't mounted it yet. There's also an adhesive with a hook but adhesives usually don't last long and then it will fall off so not motivated to use that. If I get tired of the chair then I will probably mount it with the screws. I have another fridge and freezer and both of those already have surge protectors. This new surge protector covers the second fridge so now all 3 have a surge protector. This one is nicer than the other 2 surge protectors because it shows the voltage. The other 2 only have the green light.I recommend this surge protector.
