En la descripción del producto no se menciona que se debe cambiar el cartucho de vez en cuando, adicionalmente tampoco se venden los cartuchos por parte del vendedor. Sirve para detalles finos y cumple el trabajo esperado, pero el cartucho dura muy poco tiempo.

La verdad es que es pequeño, de lo más económico que encontré pero más fuerte que los que venden para cosmetologia, funciona bien aunque la punta no es tan resistente como todas las puntas de cualquier cauterio. Me encanto

Es un buen productoPara quitar lunares, o tomar biopsias superficiales de la dermis, no lo recomiendo para intentar usar en una incisión más profunda

this worked great when I got it. It didnt last that long so I changed batteries and just figured it will eat thru batteries but I use rechargeable so no big deal. But since I changed the batteries it has lasted a long time so i think it just came with weak batteries. I use this for thread not wax and it is still possible to burn the fabric but less easily than with a lighter at least. The tip is fragile. it got bent once and I bent it back but I suspect it will break if that happens a few times. It is way too fragile to clean. I see residue on it but it does not seem to cause problems so maybe that is no big deal. Ive shopped around for replacement tips and they are available but seem pricier than they should be relative to the price of the actual pen. Itd be nice if it had included 1 spare but really I have not yet needed it so maybe not a big deal. Im happy with it. They make thread burners like this but the reviews indicate they are really poorly made so I was happy to find this. All this is, is a re-branded bovie cautery pen (for medical use) so I figured it would at least be functional and it is. no clue about using it with wax though!

okay, yes i use this on myself to remove skin tags. and yes, it does work. it only gets about half as hot as the cautery pen your dermatologist uses, so make sure to use fresh batteries so it gets as hot as possible. the tags will fall off after about two weeks, definitely takes longer to heal than when the dermatologist does it. don't attempt this at home unless you have had this procedure done before and understand the proper way to remove the tags. it works on red spots and freckles too. please use caution!
