This set is terrible, as another user stated, the wrong screws are included, the base plate is not correctly threaded and you have to purchase screws, sadly regular Fender Telecaster screws will not work.The pickups are "CHEAPLY" made.Plastic bobbins that are really flimsy, Squier pickups are better, seriously.Spend a little more and pass this junk up.

The neck pickup was a breeze to install. The screws and springs fit perfectly. The bridge pickup was quite the opposite. The brass base plate was out of alignment with the holes and, as pointed out by others, the included screws were too small and slipped as soon as an attempt was made to install. Since the included screws didn't fit, I had to use a drill and some files to ream out the holes to fit the screws from the previous pickup to get it to work. The hole were still out of alignment with the bridge plate (Squire Bullet Telecaster) so it took a lot of strong arming to make it work. After about an hour or so I was finally able to get the pickup installed and soldered both to the control plate. When I plugged the pickups in to test them, it was clear that these were not a matched set.....the middle position was very clearly out of phase due to the way the pickups were wound. As a result I had to reset the lead and ground wires on the neck pickup which allows for all three pickup settings to work, but creates an ungrounded pickup. As long as you don't touch the pickup it doesn't make noise, kmbutnif you accidently brush it while picking it makes a sticky hiss.If I didn't alter the pickups to install them I would have probably sent them back due to the out of phase issue alone. I bought them together because I specifically wanted to avoid that issue.The sound is great for the price, but if you don't have extra additional parts and tools, you won't be able to properly install.

Nice looking set of pickups. However, the bridge pickup was a problem. There is a heavy plate on the bottom which has holes thar are used for the mounting screws. Unfortunantely, these holes were too big for the screws that were sent with the pickups, and so it was impossible to properly mount the pickup in the bridge plate. I was able to attach another bottom plate with the correct size holes from an old pickup, but then discovered that the pickup itself was non-functioning. Using a multimeter, I found that the pickup was "open" and couldn't be used. Because I had altered the pickup by replacing the bottom plate, I didn't feel right about asking for a replacement. The neck pickup works well.
