I LOVE TITANIUM!! When I see a lovely piece of titanium gear on amazon vine, I know there is no one who will offer a review as honest as I will. There are a few different grades of titanium, and that grade will determine the purity.What I look for is functionalitiy depending on the intended use.This bowl is absolutely gorgeous and worthy of the price tag. This is a solid piece of titanium that I would happily use on a daily basis.I had intended for this bowl to go in my bugout, but I think I will toss it in my NYC urban EDC. It is not only light enough, but will also come in handy when those obsolete styrofoam plates melt through.

I *love* titanium. I have so many titanium things it is kind of ridiculous, especially since I am a car camper and not a backpacker. If I were a backpacker, though, I would definitely take this plate. The edges are curved enough that it is almost a bowl, so it is multifunctional. It matches in weight other titanium plates I've purchased, so I'm confident it's the real deal. It is also slightly smaller than other available plates, which I think is a good thing as I like to take these when I travel (They are SO useful in hotel rooms - as a catch all, a dine-in-your-room-plate, even a candleholder). Also good for an emergency kit as you can cook on them. The only reason I docked a star is that they etched the logo into the eating surface instead of on the reverse of the plate.

This is my third (and smallest) titanium plate and I love it. It is the perfect size (I got the small) to nest into my titanium frying pan. Now I can carry the frying pan, this plate, and a set of titanium cutlery with a lid for the frying pan all inside the pan. It's thick enough to not warp or bend easily and it's titanium so it won't rust or react with any foods and should last me the rest of my life. Great for camping or just daily use.I highly recommend this.

NGL, when I got it I was like what is this good for appetizers? But since I can fill it with anything and I am full of I filled it, plus you can use it as a bowl or a plate I've heated things from it but just. because you can I don't recommend as I had some stew in it before and the bottom gets really hot already from food you put in well i guess that is good for cooking if think about it like that. especially camping, but this one is my every meal dish it washes easily it's small (yet big) and its sturdy. I recommend that everyone own least one

Very light and 6 inches didn't seem that small but it''s definitely a plate, not a bowl so it is. Does have a nice rolled edge and a pretty good lip. Weight is 52 G on my digital scale.
