My General Comments:With limited tool storage space, I pick my tools carefully. As a DIY homeowner, I own a couple of pipe wrenches and crescent wrenches that suit my needs. My Experience with Wrenches:Pipe Wrenches: Great for metal pipes and fittings, these wrenches have wide toothed jaws that “bite” into the metal, providing excellent grip strength and leverage. However, they can damage plastic fittings unless I use duct tape and wooden strips to protect the plastic.Crescent Wrenches: These have no teeth, so they don’t damage fittings, but their narrower jaws limit their use for larger fittings.I needed a wrench with a larger jaw capacity, good leverage, and no teeth—a hybrid combining the best features of both pipe and crescent wrenches. Hence, the MAXPOWER 11" Adjustable Wrench.Bottom Line:The MAXPOWER 11" Adjustable Wrench is exactly the hybrid wrench I was searching for. Its larger jaw size allows me to tackle larger plastic fittings without worrying about damage. It has a good heft, feels comfortable in my hands, and is easy to adjust. It’s the perfect addition to my tool arsenal—I can finally stop looking for wrenches. My tool collection is complete!

Sandblasted surface with a silver coating. The adjustment nut is very easy to turn without zero binding like some other wrenches I’ve used. The jaws are flat and don’t have any serrations, so it should be able to grab nuts & bolt heads evenly without causing any stripping. The jaw is 11mm wide x 46mm deep and can open to a max of approx. 79mm.It’s listed as an automotive wrench but can definitely be used for other purposes. Overall, a quality-built wrench. At the time of this review, the wrench was priced at $39.99.

Got this for those times I need some serious leverage that works better than a thinner and smaller Crescent.Well made and can handle the more stubborn nuts I've dealt with. For the reasonable price, this one is certainly worth giving a try!
