First of all: Wow! I got the 20” necklace and it is spectacular for costume jewelry. The settings for the stones are sturdy, which adds to the look of authenticity. Additionally, the necklace uses a box clasp which is a standard closure for fine jewelry. However, the box clasp can be a pain to use, especially on a necklace. The cubic zirconia stones are sparkly, and in the right lighting they are dazzling. The question of the day is, how are you going to use the necklace? For me, I wish it was a little more realistic looking. I thought the larger stones took it into the realm of costume. That said, depending on your mood, the occasion and your sassiness level for the day, this necklace is a lot of fun to wear. I wore it to work with faded denim, a t-shirt, black Doc’s and a black leather jacket. I loved the look. The outfit “roughed up” the necklace and made it more fun than formal. I comfortably wore it for 8+ hours and didn’t experience any scratchiness. To borrow a line from the movie “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days,” I’ll end with the recommendation to “Frost yourselves!”

I love this necklace! Many years ago, I bought a CZ tennis bracelet off of Home shopping and adored it. People thought it was real. I expect the same of this necklace. It is such good quality. The clasp is like one you get in better jewelry, where it slides and locks securely. If you have a special occasion coming up, you should get this necklace to set it off your outfit. I doubt I would ever wear this necklace with something casual. It’s definitely very dressy and expensive looking. I can’t wait to wear it!
