replaced my 1970s radar range with this bad boy. Is it overkill? Absolutely. Is it as simple as you can get? Yes. Does it take 45 seconds to heat my water for tea? You betcha. Might be a bit much for the home user, but I doubt I'll need to get another one!No turntable and the fans are pretty loud, but also: it's got a knob. The door has a handle. It weighs 50lbs. This thing is unkillable in a world of machines that break every few years. Well worth the money.

Exactly what I was looking for when I needed to replace our old microwave. This unit has no turntable to worry about breaking down so no worries about placing heavy loads inside, and as an added bonus it’s extremely easy to clean both inside and out.

Although the microwave appears to be well made, it quit heating after 4 years of light household use. Estimate to repair $200+. Model is made in Korea, not USA. Not what I expected from an Amana commercial unit.

Bought this to replace Sharp Carousel microwave that finally died after 8 years of reliable service. I was skeptical that a basic commercial Microwave would work out for our home use but I have been pleasantly surprised how much I like this oven. I have used this exact model for several years in our hospital break rooms so I was familiar with its functions. I like the simple dial function and the added power level buttons for certain food items that require less than full power to cook. This is a tough well built microwave that will last if you take care of it . I will come back and report if something changes but so far this is great alternative to the cheaper Home use ovens that tend to break prematurely. I think you will like this for its simplicity and ruggedness. Highly recommended.

This is a well-made, nicely built commercial oven. We are tired of the cheap junk sold in stores. This oven is simple to use, very predictable, easy to clean and use. It works really. It is noisier than most "home" ovens, though. I understand it was made for noisy commercial environments and not a home kitchen. That is the only downside, I think. This machine should last for years! We are pleased.
