Everyone should use these! I have two cats and terrible allergies. These are super easy to use, replace, cut to any size. You can put them inside the vent or attach to the outside. They go on the blowing vents and the return. They’re super cheap and do a better job than the filters inside the furnace. Can swap them out super easy and fast.

I have been looking for a solution for sharing space with someone who smokes whereas I do not. They are subject to one area of the home for smoking which helps, but the smell tends to travel through the vents so I’d been looking for a solution to help stop the odors and this filter has been seeming to help. The vent in the room where the smoking occurs is the room that this filter has been placed on. Note that it is a functioning vent and is open to allow the heat (currently winter) to flow. The first night of using the filter, I came back to it on the ground as it had fallen off. After replacing, it has not fallen back down. So I was apprehensive about the adhesive at first but it has been holding better so I’ll say it’s fine and to just make sure you have applied a good amount of pressure to ensure a better hold. I have noticed that the smell has not been traveling which is huge. Of course I may get a whiff if the door is open or if any lingering smell leaks underneath but seriously I used to be in a completely different room (specifically bathroom) with the door shut and know what was going on in the other room. Heat on or off. It has been so much better. Very happy for that reason alone. I will be interested to see what it looks like come time to swap the filter. I will say I would have appreciated some stencils coming with the set to be able to measure for the vent. Our vent is on the roof and required a ladder to get up and measure, get down to cut the material, get back up to test the fit, and then make corrections and then stick up. A bit much so stencils of generic vent sizes would be great to make this much more efficient to use. Once I get through the first roll, I may consider purchasing. $18.99 for a few uses is not awful compared to single filter prices. As others mentioned, it would have been great if white side was meant to fave down so you could see when time to change the filter. Especially for those who have it on the roof. There was the option to set this up inside of the vent but opted for outside of it to make it a little easier. There are totally pros to this, and of course the few flaws. Overall more satisfying than un.

Sure, it will work if you have flat vents. Didn’t work for me so I returned it.

I got this kit as I live in IL. We had a deep freeze which turned Dodge's OEM hose kit into brittle rock hard plastic and it snapped in several places.This kit is awesome, has more than enough hose line to get the job done with lots left over. I did have to watch some videos on how to change the hose line as this did NOT come with instructions. The connectors that came with this kit fit great in the OEM sprayer connections. You do have to cut some hose to make it all come together.Took me about 30 minutes to install, and everything is working so far so good, I just hope it holds up in the heat of the engine compartment, or in summer time.
