The MHW-3BOMBER espresso distribution tool is very well-made, with a solid, high-quality feel that gives it a premium product experience. It distributes coffee grinds evenly and creates a flat surface for tamping. I’m impressed by its performance and build quality.

This distributor is great quality. The size is exact and fits perfectly into a 53mm portafilter basket. I like the action. It uses gravity and rotation to distribute and settle the grounds. Ready to tamp. Plus, the spinning action is fun to fidget with.

MHW-3BOMBER's Coffee Distributor arrived nicely boxed and protected. The distributor is very nicely made from thick and robust metal. It feels weighty in the hand and has a robust and substantial feel. Included is a thick rubber base for storing the distributor. It works perfectly with my Breville Barista Pro's filter basket. It fits like a glove, turns smoothly, and does not push a lot of ground over the side of the basket. It leaves my coffee grounds smooth, level, and perfect for tamping. It does not hold onto a lot of grounds. All in all... effective and well made.

This is a great distributor but that $50 price tag (at time of review) is a little crazy. I have loved all of the MHW-3BOMBER espresso tools so far, they are made really well, are high quality, and are all thoughtfully designed. This one is no exception. The distributor is made of all aluminum, all matte black except for the actual distributor piece that makes contact with your grounds that part is a dark chrome and looks really nice in contrast to the matte paint of everything else. It is weighty and feels really nice and substantial. One thing that really stands out about this distributor vs a few other similar ones that I have tried is that the bottom piece is able to drop down using gravity to really push on the grounds without much effort from you the user. It rotates smoothly and does a pretty great job distributing the grounds creating a nice flat foundation for tamping.Something that I don't really love about the design of this distributor is the "hollow design" that they advertise as a selling point. I find that its susceptible to get grounds trapped into the hollow body. It is however easy to clean out but it is a bit of a nuisance to have to clean out a distributor tool. I do find the look of the hollow body pretty unique and I can see how it may appeal to some. For $50 it doesn't necessarily distribute that much better than many of the cheaper options out on the market but it is definitely a unique piece to have with your coffee making collection. I love the gravity weighted distributor puck that falls onto the grounds effortlessly and it does a really good job distributing so you wont be disappointed by it's performance. If you can swing it and want to treat yourself to something nice to add to your coffee making routine than this may be the piece you are looking for.
