Makes a great first impression. Build quality, use, result, but what's the BUT?I have and use the DEX 22g basket from the same brand. On the maximum setting of this WDT is a good 2mm from the bottom....The marketing claims is compatible but I didn't know if this is an oversight or just my misunderstanding if the needles aren't supposed to be able to get that low in it's use anyway?If I had any baskets smaller than the 22g Then obviously I could adjust the needles so they would go just above the bottom of the basket. But I can't in the 22g because like I said it maxes out.Maybe I can get a response from the company from this review? Is this a design flaw? There's nothing in the instruction book included the indicates how to adjust this according to the basket size even of the same brand. WDT made easy. After adjusting to the appropriate depth of you basket. 1, 2, 3 light press of the button and you are ready to tamper and extract. Benefit very repeatable result and time saving. I love it! A+++

Very well made, simple & easy to use. MHW-3BOMBER products have impressed me. Ordered many and only one did not work out. I do use their YU Series Infinite Distributer to level the coffee bed before using thie tamper. Great esperesso extractions.

This is an OK WDT tool, with potential to be great.If you have a 18-20g basket in your portafilter, I feel the needles don't go deep enough into the basket, even at full lock. I tried to disassemble it and see what I could do, but in the end, I had to cut one of the locking rings from the shaft with my dremel tool to allow the pins to reach a little deeper. That modification gave me another 1/8th of an inch, and still the pins aren't rubbing the bottom of the basket.Also the modification I mention makes it so the needles stick a little past the bottom of the device, so a stand for it sit in similar to other WDT on the market would be a nice addition, and I would happily pay more for that.More adjustability and a way to use standard WDT needles would make this 5 stars and easily my favorite WDT tool. As it stands having to modify it to make it work for larger shots is a real bummer and hard to do without scratching the black finish. I scratched mine and had to spot paint it. That and the lacking stand for it to sit in makes this 3 stars IMO.
