This is exactly what I was looking for! I am building a mud room and want a drain in floor for easy cleanup. This drain is very sturdy and strong and will hold up to household abuse! Can easily be walked on, and I like the additional strainer inside to catch any items that fall in. I couldn't ask for a better drain and at a very reasonable price!

This is a very pretty shower drain (if there's such a thing as pretty shower drains) in brushed nickel that comes with everything you need to replace your old, grungy drain with this one. I have no clue how to do that, so my neighbor was kind enough to do this for me. I think he's just afraid I'll try it and flood his home in the process, but he's a nice guy.It didn't take him five minutes to remove the old, grungy, unreliable tub stopper with this pretty shower drain. I have long hair, so I thought the landlord would appreciate the hair strainer feature when he eventually discovers this. The drain works exactly as it's supposed to work and does a good job.My neighbor said I should've ordered the drain with a flange, but I didn't know anything about that, and he said it should work fine without one but he would have preferred having the flange. Next time I'll know better, if I remember.Very good product, a pretty brushed nickel shower drain that's four inches square and comes with a removable tile in drain grate, hair trap stainless steel, threaded adapter, and lifting hook. You can also use the lifting hook to remove the top of the drain to empty the hair trap. My neighbor, who installed mine for me and knows what he's doing, said I should've ordered the drain with a flange, so I'll try to remember that next time the subject comes up, which hopefully should be in 25 years. This is a very well made product that does exactly what it's supposed to do and looks great while doing so.

For some reason I thought this product also came with the bottoms part that attaches to underneath the shower pan but it does not. However it is still a great drain made from quality materials. I love that you are easily able to remove the cover and that there is a hair catch inside of it! That is a smart addition! The threads will fit inside all standard Oatey drains which is nice.
