Great waist band leash. Quality seems great, took it on our first hike today and was comfortable to wear, and took the intense jerking feeling out of my puller who likes to think he’s a sled dog.Only downside is the pouch is only big enough for poop bags, and the clip mechanism needs some work. It’s a standard carabiner clip, but the free arm isn’t very strong. There is a little lock mechanism that slides up to keep it in place, but that falls down very frequently. I’ve tried to twist it to get it to stay up but no luck.Ultimately, would purchase again, but I hope they work on the above for future iterations

Love the adaptability and features packed into this leash! My dog is super friendly and will dart at other dogs to say hi when we’re out and about… some dogs don’t like that! He’s super strong so being able to have him around my waist on as short of a leash as I need is super helpful. I lengthen it for adventures where there’s fewer dogs around. Love the bag compartment as well!

This leash is soooo good. I love it and it's by far the best leash I have ever had. All the features are so useful. However, I can see how some folks who left reviews on this product would say the leash is too short. I think this leash is the perfect length for me to have around my waist/hips as a Medium sized woman with a 33" waist and 40" hips. But the leash gets shorter as you widen the waist band part, so if you are larger then you have less leash. I think they could just offer different lengths to accommodate different sized folks. For my size, this isn't an issue and I get have 4-6 ft length of leash between me and my dog when I wear it around my waist which is perfect for us. I love the small poop bag dispenser, it's super low profile and fits a roll of bags AND a few treats for walks. Plus the D ring to click my car keys on. I love the shock resistance and the built in handle is great for keeping your dog close, in moments where you are passing other dogs, bikes, along a road, etc. I have never used the seat buckle part because my dog gets the whole trunk to himself. But I imagine dogs driving in the seats would benefit from it. Overall my only personal complaint is that I would really love the two part buckle that makes it so you can take the leash on and off your body, was a clip. I don't love fumbling with the hardware to take it on and off. It's simple enough but for more flow and ease of use, that would be my only personal downside of this leash.

This leash is so nice for walking two dogs. It’s tough, has a nice locking latch, and is a good length. Whenever I need to bend over too pick up their fully processed food, I don’t have to worry about holding them while I pull out a bag and pick it up. Having hands free just makes it so convenient. It also is good for running. There’s no holding onto something throwing you off balance.

I’m usually a cheap guy but the reason I picked this one over the $10 hands free leashes was for several reasons and I’m glad to say that I think they are worth the price difference.Build quality is good with strong reinforced ends and metal buckles instead of plastic.This was the most important consideration because, trust me, you wouldn’t want a broken buckle bouncing back towards your face.Soft interior lining with a decent width makes it comfortable when wrapped around your waist. It’s pretty lightweight so I’d say any sized dog would be comfortable with it. The built in doggy bag, seat belt plug, and grab handle are great additions as well.Only thing that is a minor nuisance is the metal locking carabiner for the dog collar side is small enough that my fingers can’t quickly open it to attach it one handed. It’s not as big as my ruff wear leash which I can clip on single handed. On the other hand, it does keep the weight lighter on the dog collar end which I’m sure my pup appreciates.I got the 7’ leash because I thought the 8’ one would be too long and it’s a perfect leash length once adjusted for my 34” waist. My 50lb doodle is not more than 2 ft ahead of me. However, it got close to maxing out the adjustable length for the leash in order to fit my waist so if you’re bigger than a 36” waist then id suggest the longer leash. Securing the leash around your waist is not as quick as a clip buckle but it’s not difficult to use either.Overall this leash is excellent for the pup that no longer chews its leash. And when you consider not having to buy a poop bag holder, seat belt plug, or trying a knot on your leash to create a “handle” then the value really stands out.
