The radiator fit okay in my 2011 mustang gt with manual transmission. The bolts on the radiator did not quite line up with the condenser coil in front of the radiator. Had to slot the bolts holes. But after that, it fit.

The garage mechanic said today this radiator is the best they've seen and fitted. I couldn't really say the exact words, but along the lines of "this is the dogs doodars! 3 times deeper than the original. My Mustang is 100% better for this radiator.

Fits perfectly. Installed in my automatic transmission 2005 V6 Mustang. Despite Mishimoto claiming it fits manual transmission cars only, I ordered it anyway after doing some research. Turns out automatic 05 and newer Mustangs use a seperate trans cooler that sits between the radiator and AC condenser. V6 or GT, Manual or Automatic, it doesn't matter. They all share the same radiator. No modifications were required whatsoever, it dropped right in although it was a bit tight squeezing it in without bending any fins. COOLING PERFORMANCE IS SLIGHTLY BETTER THAN STOCK. I COMMUTE ON THE INTERSTATE EVERYDAY. CRUISE CONTROL SET TO 70 MPH I ASCEND A LONG UPHILL STRETCH FOR A SEVERAL MILES, AC ON, ABOUT 92°F AMBIENT. I LIKE TO MONITOR MY ENGINE PARAMETERS ON MY SCANTOOL WHEN DRIVING. I WATCH THE COOLANT TEMP CLIMB FROM THE NORMAL CRUISING TEMP OF 192° (NO HILL) UP TO 218° (LONG HILL AND 90+° OUTSIDE) AT WHICH POINT THE COOLING FAN TURNS ON BRIEFLY AND BRINGS THE TEMP BACK DOWN TO 192° THEN IT SHUTS OFF AND ALLOWS THE TEMP TO CLIMB BACK TO 218° REPEATING THIS PROCESS 3 TIMES BEFORE REACHING THE SUMMIT. INTERESTINGLY AFTER THROWING OUT THE 14 YEAR OLD, DIRITY STOCK RADIATOR AND INSTALLING THIS MISHIMOTO RADIATOR I STILL SEE ALMOST THE EXACT SAME ROUTINE BEFORE REACHING THE SUMMIT. DIFFERENCE IS ABOUT 1 MILE FURTHER UP HILL BEFORE THE FAN COMES ON. FAN STILL CYCLES 3 TIMES ALTHOUGH THE THIRD TIME IS NOT AS NEEDED AS IT WAS BEFORE. I IMAGINE THE AIRFLOW THROUGH THIS THICKER RADIATOR IS PROBABLY MORE RESTRICTED AND TO ME EXPLAINS WHY THE PERFORMANCE DIFFERENCE IS NOT GREATER. I'M STILL VERY HAPPY I INSTALLED THIS RADIATOR THOUGH AND WOULD AGAIN IF I HAD ANOTHER CAR TO PUT ONE IN. QUALITY IS THE BEST, AND LIFETIME WARRANTY

Never would I have believed I could get a radiator for a non native car delivered next day.The radiator was perfect. Exactly if it had been ordered steaming from the manufacturer. A lovely piece of kit I’m just sad it isn’t very visible.Top work. Thank you.

I wasn't sure about buying this radiator for two reasons: 1) I'd never used any of their products and nobody I knew had them, and 2) it said "manual only" and I have a built 5R55S.It was only after talking with my uncle, who's been building cars, hot-rods and working on exotics all his life, that I paid closer attention to Mishimoto, as he recommended them. I don't take anything he recommends lightly given what he works on and his experience. The radiator came in and looked great! I was expecting to have to fabricate some kind of mount for my stock transmission cooler (I run a compound cooler setup with the stock cooler in line with an aftermarket Derale cooler to keep my built 5R55S under control). Immediately after taking it out of the box and bag I saw that it had exactly the right mounts already on it for the stock trans cooler!I get that some radiators for automatic cars are a combined unit with the trans cooler and radiator as one unit...but that's not the case with the S197 mustangs (at least) so listing this as "manual only" was confusing at least. I almost didn't buy this radiator because of this.As for the radiator itself, it went in perfectly. It doesn't have the bulky extra plastic on the sides sticking out so it was even easier to get into place than the stock radiator. Only one of the holes (the top driver-side condenser hole) was off by about half the width of an M6 bolt, but that wasn't anything difficult to correct.I got this radiator because I had to completely rebuild my coolant system among other things. As it stands I'm still putting the car back together so haven't run it yet, so I don't have any feedback on cooling performance. I have no reason to suspect it would be any less than the stock unit at the very least. Very nice drain plug and fittings. One thing I will say is that upon arrival the radiator had a tiny amount of metal flake and "fuzz" inside, but no mechanic worth their salt would think of putting a new radiator into a car without flushing it first anyway.
