I put these lights inside of my rooftop tent for camping trips and they seem to work well. Decent connection reliability and brightness modes allow for longer use.All of these types of lights can be a little tricky to cut and fit but after a few tries, I seemed to get the hang of joining strands together.

This is a good option for a reasonably priced COB LED lighting strip. I've installed a lot of LED lighting strips over the years, though I'm relatively new to using COB strips, since only now are they beginning to be widely available and come down in price. I love the fact that COB strips have a much more even lighting rather than having sequential points of light, which--depending on your application--can be distracting. Especially when using these for undercabinet lighting in a kitchen, you won't see the individual LED lights reflected in the shiny surface of granite or quartz countertops. That said, there are differences among COB LED strips. This one has 1,952 individual LEDs hidden under the yellow strip on the face of the LED tape, spread out over its 20' length, meaning about 98 LEDs per foot. When you power this LED strip up and look directly at the yellow strip, you can often see the individual points of light; this is most noticeable when the strip is dimmed. By contrast, I have some COB strips that have 160 LEDs per foot, which makes it harder to see the individual lights (though when fully dimmed, you can still see that it's not truly one continuous strip of light). But, you pay more for COB strips with more lights per foot, and this one seems like a reasonable compromise, especially if you're using it in an application where you won't be looking at it directly and/or won't be dimming it very low.Another advantage of the COB strips, including this one, is that you have a bit of a protective layer over the individual LED chips. Traditional LED strips have the chips sitting on the surface where they can be damaged if hit or scraped. On these COB strips, the yellow layer is a rubbery coating covering the chips. While it's not going to protect from real impacts (or I suspect water), I think it will provide a reasonable level of protection. One thing I think is really nice about this particular LED strip is that it arrived in one single 20' piece with no splices/seams. Some of the cheaper LED strips are basically assembled from shorter lengths with solder joints wherever the shorter pieces are joined together. I suspect that the shorter lengths are offcuts or from where the manufacturer had to chop out bad sections during the manufacturing and quality control process, and rather than toss the short pieces, they splice them together. This one has none of that, so perhaps that speaks to a higher quality and better manufacturing.Of course, an LED strip is useless if it doesn't do the one thing you bought it to do--provide light. And this one works just fine. I got the 3000k temperature version, which I find is a good middle ground between some of the really cold blue LEDs and the way too warm almost yellow LEDs. I think the color temperature is about right and in line with what I would have expected in ordering a 3000K version. The tape light dims nicely (I tested it with both a Leviton Diva CL DVCL-153P dimmer switch and a TP Link Kasa HS220 smart dimmer switch and both worked equally well), though dimming is a function of the LED strip, LED driver/power supply and dimmer switch you're using, so make sure to test your particular setup before you install it just to make sure they all play nicely with each other.Only time will tell if this strip (or the adhesive on its back) lasts over the long haul; if it doesn't, I'll make sure to update my review accordingly.

I recently acquired the COB LED light strip, and after putting it into place, here's what I found:Ease of Use and Customization:The light strip offers remarkable ease of use. It lacks a power supply or dimmer, however, I see both are available on the manufacturer's store. The inclusion of connectors simplifies the extension process, and the adhesive works effectively for easy installation - which allowed me to take on corners easier.Kitchen Brilliance:In my kitchen, I needed a lighting solution without the complications of sleeves and could easily stick under cabinets and behind pantry doors. The 24V LED strip proved to be an ideal choice, providing a continuous and unceasing light intensity. It eliminated the need for additional materials, and the double-sided tape made installation a swift process. The strip's length proved to be more than adequate for my application.Reasonably Priced Even Illumination:Exploring reasonably priced COB LED lighting options, I found this strip to be a standout choice. The even lighting is a significant advantage, particularly for undercabinet applications. With 1,952 hidden LEDs over its 20' length, the strip strikes a balance between brightness and cost. The protective layer over the LEDs adds a level of durability. The absence of splices or seams in its construction reflects a commitment to quality.Temperature and Dimming Delight:Opting for the 3000k temperature version, I discovered a perfect middle ground between cold blue and warm yellow LEDs. The consistent color temperature aligns with expectations for a 3000K version.Worth noting -- You will need to purchase a power supply that is adequately rated for this device (24v). In the past on other devices and lighting, mismatching the voltage resulted in the device burning out (too much voltage) or not functioning (not enough voltage). At that, ensure the wattage is what you are looking for with this light as I understand different wattage will effect the brightness of this (although I did not test that as I only have one power supply). In conclusion, the COB LED light strip has proven to be a reliable and versatile lighting solution. Its ease of use, customization options, even illumination, and temperature performance make it a valuable addition to various settings. While only time will reveal its long-term durability, based on its current performance, I am highly satisfied with this purchase.
