This thing is junk! I can’t even use it anymore. Only been. 2 months and it won’t even register. Don’t even waste your money. Of course the window closed for return, which is crap when you’re buying something like this.

Ordered like 15 small keyboards to try them out and landed on this one finally. I'm still not super confident in the battery of the board itself or the Chinese made bluetooth security - it doesn't charge/plug in via the surface pro like the original options so you have to keep on top of it with a USB-A charger. The material on the keyboard is nice though and acts as a cover for the surface pro as well so that is a bonus.

It works fine as a keyboard but take caution that the area for the charging port and power switch is an added bump compared to the Microsoft first party keyboard and thus makes it so that this one doesn't close flush with some cases. The keys feel fine, but the trackpack texture is off. It works but it's clearly a lower grade trackpad compared to a lot of what's on the market these days.Overall functional product that delivers on its claims but not 5 stars perfect so I am giving it 4 stars instead.

My original keyboard broke. So I decided to take a chance on this one. The color is very nice and it came packaged nicely. When I opened it, I realized that it does require to be externally charged and does not have the auto charging contacts on the magnetic side of the keyboard, like the original. I tried connecting it to bluetooth but could not get it to connect and realized afterwards that I probably did not follow the directions because I did not see them until later. There are directions on the actual keyboard on a sticker, so I was just following that. In comparison to my original, it does seem to be a little less sturdy and and thinner. I decided to get an original keyboard again and we'll be returning this one for those reasons.

After trying several third-party Surface Pro keyboards, I finally found the perfect one! Previous covers either lacked a backlight or had a poorly placed trackpad that caused accidental presses. This keyboard solves all those issues—it has a customizable backlight, a properly positioned trackpad, and bluetooth connectivity, letting me use it wirelessly with ease!It's even as lightweight as the original Surface Pro keyboard, unlike the heavier alternatives I tried before. The prnt scrn is on the del button, and the volume and media controls are on the arrow keys, both requiring the "fn" key, but it’s a minor adjustment that you quickly get used to.Overall, I’m thrilled with this keyboard—exactly what I needed!
