Many of my tote bags have little to no internal or external organization, so I thought this would be great for keeping everything organized.I gave this four stars because for the most part, this is as advertised, so what they are representing is accurate. From a functionality standpoint, I would rate it as three stars. Both of my laptops are ultra-thins that are 12”x8” and 12.5”x9”. They were both a very tight fit, so I am not sure if you could realistically get a 14” laptop in any of the pockets. As other reviewers have noted, there is no zippered pocket, which would have been a great design addition. I was able to fit my mouse and smaller power supply into the mesh pockets in the middle section. Overall the construction appears to be good quality, but all of the pockets minus the very bottom one on the “organizer” side are very thin, so not really suitable for anything even mildly bulky. The organizer is very stiff, so it will not slouch inside your bag/backpack. It has a lot of padding, so it should keep your screens safe.All that said, I don’t think it is worth the regular price and maybe not even at a deep discount since I didn’t find it was all that useful for actual organization. If I had purchased this, I would have returned it for a refund.

It seems to be a good idea, however; adding items to the front ofthe carrier as well as adding a laptop to the rear of the carrier can make it feel tight. It's well made, and looks nice. I picked it up to use it as a rigid backer for a EDC bag I have.

I’m an aficionado of quality, urban backpacks and organizational gear, and regularly use stuff from Aer, Black Ember, and Alpaka among others. This insert is awesome. It takes the onus off the backpack to check off every organizational need for slots and compartments. This is such a clever way to supplement a minimalist backpack design, if and when needed. And unlike built-in compartments of a backpack, you can remove the entire insert at once to pack it or grab what you need. First time I did that, I was surprised by how convenient it was.It does add a bit of weight, but I think it’s worth it to not have a pile of stuff jangling around at the bottom of a pack. It disperses object vertically, so the balance of weight will be better for feel, as well.Couple tips… I added photos with my iPad mini 7 for reference. I wouldn’t use this to hold my big laptop, but tablets are gravy. Disperse bulky items vertically. Don’t expect it to hold very big items. It won’t hold a can of soda, but it handled my travel socket adapter just fine in the bottom pouch.As an EDC gear geek, I find this a great accessory to play around with. Love it so far.

This backpack organizer insert is a practical and lightweight solution for keeping essentials neatly arranged. It fits well in my backpack, and the top handle makes it easy to remove when needed. The black and gray color scheme pairs nicely with my black backpack, creating a cohesive look.The pockets are easily accessible, and the depth is adequate for most items. However, the compartments could expand slightly more to make retrieval easier or accommodate larger belongings. One drawback is the lack of a zippered compartment, which would help secure small or valuable items. Additionally, the mesh pockets, while useful for organizing smaller objects, are not deep enough for larger phones—more than half of my phone protrudes when placed inside. Because the tops of the mesh pockets are open, items could potentially spill if the organizer isn’t kept upright.The overall construction feels solid. The material appears sturdy, and the stitching is free from defects. It’s lightweight and maintains its structure even when empty, which is a plus. While I haven't used it long enough to judge its durability over time, it seems well-made.An interesting potential use would be as a seatback organizer in a car with some minor modifications to the handle. As a backpack insert, it works well for general organization, but those needing extra security for small items or deeper compartments for larger devices might find it lacking.

I received this Amazon Vine in exchanges for an honest review. I purchased this bag organizer because my current bag has no interior pockets, and things tend to get lost easily. I needed something that could securely hold my iPad and other small essentials, and this organizer does a fantastic job with that. It has plenty of compartments to keep things in place and easily accessible.The product description mentions that it can hold a laptop, and while my 14-inch laptop does fit, I have a bulky case on it, which makes it a bit of a tight squeeze. Without the case, it would fit perfectly, but with it, getting the laptop in and out requires some effort. I wish it were slightly larger to accommodate my setup more comfortably.Overall, it’s a well-made and practical organizer that has helped bring order to my bag. If it were just a bit roomier, it would have been a perfect 5-star purchase!
