these only work with U joint style axle. But it said it would fit my 1995 orvis.. It does not

Two things, first they were too small diameter to fit snugly in the tubes. This required my to turn larger grooves on my lathe for larger o-rings. That solved that issue. Next was, you'll have to drill a hole in the seal where the grease fitting is. Otherwise grease won't get to the axle shaft and the seal doesn't sit correctly. Once I did this it's good. We'll see how they hold up. But they are really cheap so there's that.

Had a grease it up the slide on axles but once slid on easy install time will tell

Not all aluminum despite some reviews saying they are. I got ones that were just rubber with an aluminum ring on the outside only with a grease fitting. When I went to install it on my 2010 JKU they weren't big enough for the axle tubes and would have sealed nothing. Literally at least a 1/4 in gap between the "seal" and the tube.
