I have some short sleeve fishing shirts made of similar material. I knew in advance this was not going to be a rugged shirt of thick durable material. Wanted a version of a fishing shirt in long sleeves. Tried it on and it is a little large on me but I am fine with that.

As sun protection this shirt does fine, but as a quality product that is right-sized it fails miserably. I ordered a large and have seen XL shirts that aren't as big as this. When I went to unbutton it, the second button down hung up on some threads that caused the bunching of the material that you can see in the pic I uploaded. The rest of the buttons were difficult to unbutton and the stitching around the holes is sloppy. It does have a nice cooling flap in the back, so I gave it more than one star, but two stars is all I can give to this low-quality product.

I ordered this shirt for my son, but it was a little big on him, so I'm keeping it for myself and will order him a smaller size. I love the material, design, and the fact that the shirt is so lightweight and breathable. The color goes great with jeans, and the shirt is so comfortable. It looks great whether the sleeves are worn long or rolled up. I would definitely recommend this shirt.

I like the feel of the shirt when worn. It breathes, wicks sweat pretty well, and holds its shape well. That said, it is definitely a bit baggier than expected, especially around the chest and stomach, which is surprising as I'm not a small guy. The functionality works well as I've not had any issues with the sun when wearing the shirt, and I'm very happy using this as a shirt to take fishing or camping, sizing issues aside.If you're ok with it being a bit baggy you'll be good at your usual size. If you're not overly tall though you might try to go down a size from usual to give yourself a slightly better fit.
