This pen is a waste of money. I am very disappointed in the overall writing quality of this pen.

This is my second fountain pen, bought on the heels of a Monteverde Regatta. It has an easy-to-handle, light weight and writes beautifully. My only real complaint (thus the loss of one star) is that the rose gold accents scuff quite easily; this doesn't particularly bother me, and I knew it was likely before I bought it, as that seems to be typical of Monteverde pens. However, I know there are customers who would be irritated by it, thus the mention. It's still one of my favorite pens, though.

The rose gold area is becoming spotted because of bad quality and converter is of very bad quality. I have to fill it up with a syringe. Nib very good, looks very good but ink flow is bad because of poor quality converter

This pen is even MORE gorgeous than it seemed online. The black stub nib fits so well with the black body of the pen. The squared off cap ensures that the pen doesn't roll off my desk. It writes so smoothly. I inked it with Private Reserve DC Supershow Violet....dreamy!!

I have been using fountain pens for over 20 years. This is my favorite so far; great balance, beautiful appearance and incredible nib...my favorite to write with...I write just so I can use this pen. Problems...the finish is a little "flakey" in a literal sense. Some "pealing" of the surface coat, mostly on the nib. My first shot at using an "adaptor" and it has been great and awful at the same time. Using Noodler's ink tlohe flow and color has converted me to using bulk ink...the colors are worth it. On the other hand, the refill adaptor has un-intentionally separate twice during refill and made a bit of a mess. I think I have learned my lesson on how to avoid the problem, but think the connection could be better. Overall my favorite pen and I use it daily...no ball points, though occasional roller balls, for me. I love it!
