I live in an apartment so these motors allow me to view my wind spinners as if they were outside, spinning in the breeze. I like that they are not battery-operated and run off 120VAC instead. Unfortunately, the power cord is disappointing. The power switch is about 2' from the motor which means it'll be just below ceiling level, therefore hard to reach or use! The total cord length is about 5', leaving the plug about 3' from the motor which limits access to power sources. The cord & motor are black, which makes it difficult to blend in with my slightly off-white walls. The cord itself is made with high-gauge wires which seem more suited for a microwave or other appliance - not an extremely low power motor which a 5V USB supply could easily handle. The On/Off switch is a rocker switch which allows for use on a timer or similar control. I have two motors/spinners plugged into an extension cord running to an "Alexa" plug for periodic 'displays'. The motor is extremely quiet, barely audible in any environment.Overall, a very good motor!
