That's what I was saying before I bought this & some antifreeze for my Ford Focus SE. My God it feels good to have heat again after a year. I kept procrastinating. This worked great & was worth every penny. Heat Feel Good Ugh...

I tried the cheeper Chinese thermostat and it almost cost me the motor. A week later I was getting this OEM part. The construction is correct and fit perfectly. 2008 focus 2.0. Don’t try to save a few bucks. Go for this quality first.

Esta pieza tiene el tamaño ideal, y los materiales son idénticos al original, llegó en el tiempo exacto y se colocó de acuerdo a las especificaciones del fabricante. No presentó ninguna alteración de dimensión, viene con su empaque que hace hermetismo para posibles fugas, ya en operación no presenta ninguna falla. Fue puesto en una Ford Ranger motor DOHC 2.3 del año 2007, versión XLT. 4 cilindros

La calidad es buena.Es una pieza motorcraft.En mi ranger 2008 motor 2.3l. Le quedó perfecto.En el medidor del tablero no marcaba bien y con el nuevo termostato ya trabaja bien el medidor.

Hace casi 3 meses que se lo instalaron a mi carro y hasta el momento no ha presentado ninguna falla. La medida bien, calidad y precio excelentes 👌

I had intended to install it on my 2007 Ford Focus wagon myself, but without a lift or fully equipped shop I found that access was too difficult. I ended up providing this part to my local Ford dealer for installation. They were happy that I was providing a genuine Ford part and had no hesitation installing it. It has worked fine for the first three weeks, correcting the P0128 error code (slow warm-up) and returning the engine to its normal operating temperature. The original thermostat was confirmed to have failed partially open.

Product arrived in 2 days. I have 04 Focus /2.3L with original T-stat. Problem- I have rough idling and overheating issues. Car engine temp would not go above 165 degrees when driving at 55mph at 60 degrees outside temp ' BUT' would over heat when idling for 10 min. Put old stat in hot water and heated to 205 degrees and finally opened. Put new Motorcraft RT1193 T-stat in hot water and heated to 185 degrees and opened. I verified temp with infrared scanner. I installed the new T-state and it solved my rough idling problem big time, I would stop at a red light and car shook/idled very rough, now I don't even know the car is running at red lights. I learned Engine temp is critical in that the Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor sending unit sends this information to the PCM which controls air/fuel ratios. It also solved my overheating issue. I have put over 1k in miles on car so far and everything is working great.

Great part and well made. Pain in the butt to install but that is the Ford engineers fault!
