So far the quality is good and I like the size. I know they are sold as urn's, but I use them to hold a small amount of liquid, and they do so without leaking. Would probably be good for nitro pills. I had to find some larger thin rings to put them on my key rings.

So, I just got these today, so as far as wear'n'tear I can't really comment, but they look alright. I'll update within a few weeks if they turn your skin green, fade or break easily.As for the inside, yes, they have the little pill capsules inside the cylinder. Some people like that idea, some don't. So that's a matter of opinion. I personally like that it. If for whatever reason the top comes loose, my mother's ashes aren't going to be lost. But for those who aren't comfortable using them, the capsules come right out. I would suggest permanently sealing the top if you aren't going to use the pill capsules though. They are a simple twist-open.One negative thing so far, is the filling rod is bent. If this was one of the small opening Urn Necklaces, I wouldn't be able to use it. And, for whatever reason, it only came with 2 filler pieces. Which doesn't work if each person wanted to fill their own. We all have to share, which kinda ruined some plans others had made (filling them in her favorite location, during a prayer, etc). I'll have to look again, but I don't remember it actually saying it only came with two. I assumed it came with 6 urns, and each came with its own filler. Makes sense, right? You buy one, it comes with one. Should be the same no matter how many you get.

I bought these in an impulse buy because my husband of 14years, father of our 2 kids, passed from pancreatic cancer, and I purchased these thinking I would put some of his ashes in each one, but I actually don't believe in disturbing the peace, so although they may not have been good for me, they could definitely be good for others, depending on their beliefs; I was just a little scatterbrained at the time, trying to do the best thing for my children and basically appease everyone else when it all reality, no one else mattered. I redirected my focus and attention to just myself and my two children, and stuck to my beliefs in not disturbing the peace. But just because those are my beliefs doesn't mean it's everyone's!
