Husband is a science teacher and runs a genetics lab. He is always in need of these. He said these were perfect. These are being used with high school students so they are not being used professionally but they certainly meet his need. They are also very colorful.

These are really tiny. I thought they would hold a gram of powder. but in reality they only hold 0.33 gm. I'll need a 1.5ml to fit the whole 1 gram.That said, these are sturdy and close well. They hold liquid or powder without leakage. I recommend.

This is a packet of 500 0.5ml microtubes with snap caps. The tubes come in multiple colours. I am not sure whether these could be used in a professional research lab as the packaging does not specify what centrifuge speed these can handle. The tubes have graduations on the side and also a frosted area for label writing.We usually get tubes like this from an official lab equipment provider and they come RNAse & DNAase free whereas these are not. These microtubes do not come sterile but they can be autoclaved. I did autoclave them and they held up ok.Having multiple colours is really nice and these microtubes should be ok to use for student laboratory practicals or lab demos.

J'utilise ces mini tubes comme boites à pilules 'tous-terrains'. Chaque mini tube contient une gélule de format standard (pour les dosages jusqu'à 500 mg). Ils sont très résistants, et surtout ils sont étanches grâce au capuchon qui ferme parfaitement et reste bien en place.
