This worked out great for us. We have a 1.5" drain hose that runs across our basement floor. We had family coming over and didn't want anyone to trip over it, so we looked at different options, DIY and otherwise. This turned out to be a great solution. The slot is plenty big enough to accommodate the hose, and it is, of course, quite visible. The only issue I had at all was the strong smell that came off it when I first put it down. But that faded quickly and isn't an issue at all anymore.

Like others have said this thing is hazardous smelling. My wife thought something was on fire and this was before we even opened the double box it was in!Definitely for outdoor use only - works great for at home EV charger to go across the sidewalk.

I have used these in heavy traffic areas for construction. They worked great to bring hydraulic lines across and busy corridor. I’ve used them for power needs as well. Plenty of space in the compartment. We did tape them down with red tape and between the red tape and yellow top people were aware of the potential tripping hazard. Would by again if more are needed.
