This looks like it would go in no problem but as soon as you do as the instructions say it breaks. Needs better instructions or a video or something. Now I have to buy it again.

I knew there were no instructions and I showed the pictures from on Amazon. Husband even watched a video to install it. However, because he was frustrated with it he broke it installing it. The piece broke where the spring goes.

Unfortunately it arrived broken. We didn't get around to opening it until after the return window so we just tossed it.

I bought 2 of these because the first one I tried to install broke...I just thought it was because I installed it wrong. The second one I was able to install, but it only lasted for about a week before it broke in the console. The plastic seems week and is easy to snap.

If you install this incorrectly, it will break trying to take it back our. There are not instructions. The photos on Amazon are the only guide showing how to put the spring, and those photos do not show how to put the spring on. I think I figured it out the second time but they item was already broken at that point.
