These railing brackets are solid, and the holds predrilled. They fit fine, and look great with the sienna wood posts.

These items worked very well as part of the completion of my rebuilt deck. The items are quite sturdy and well made and they fit the 2x4s very snugly on the ends. With four screw holes to attach to the 4x4 post, I feel these are very secure and easy to work with. The price is fantastic when compared with what the brand names want for the exact same piece of hardware. Do yourself a favor and try these first before buying the brand name. You'll save lots and you'll be very happy with the quality. Also, to create an even more secure 4x4 post on whatever platform you're working, I drilled extra holes on the bottom of the inside of the square base mount and added additional lag bolts into the wood joists to keep the post even more steady and straight.

Used these brackets to install railing for my patio they worked extremely well and everything lined up properly. The brackets are made from durable plastic and looks great ,all connecting hardware comes in the package the screws are correct for for a project like this,''heavy duty'' not just a regular deck screw which probably will rust out in a year or two'
