I do like the light feeling. It dries fast and doesn't overheat me in the sun. The colors are exactly as pictured. The overall fit isn't my favorite. So while it's the perfect msterial for a beach day, the fit makes me a bit uncomfortable.

While I wasn't aware the shorts would have a lining, it was no problem to cut out. With the lining kept in- my husband tells me the shorts could have been used as swim trunks- however, he did not need swim trunks but shorts. So, we removed the inside lining with scissors so he could wear them with ease. My husband gets uncomfortable with things that he is not comfortable wearing- one of which is swim trunk lining in shorts that he would wear all day and never have to use them to swim in (as I was unaware they would be swim trunks and he didn't know until he put the outfit on for the first time).However, the top matches the shorts well- and it is a nice button-down shirt. Men out there who would like swim trunks and a matching button-down shirt- this set works perfectly although that is not what we wanted. I think this would be a great cruise or beach trip outfit- as you can wear it all day and if there is an unplanned swim that comes up- you already have swim trunks on. Even if you plan on swimming during the day or are going out on a boat- this is a great outfit to have on as you can take the nice button-down shirt off sometime during the trip- and be ready to go swimming. This is just something that we are not planning to do this year or the next.The shirt fit well on him in the x-large that I ordered as well as the shorts. We found no issues with this two piece outfit other than the fact the bottoms were swim trunks and this year, my husband doesn’t need a pair or outfit like this- with swim trunk bottoms. If we were going near any water or swimming this year- this outfit would be perfect.Regardless of the fact that this outfit had a swim trunk lining, I still gave it five stars- because it was such a well constructed and designed outfit- to use for all the options (and more) that I stated above. Plus, there was no real burden taking it out. I only wish I could have ordered it several years later and that the lining would have been mentioned in the review….If there are any questions about this item, please feel free to reach out and ask.Thank you

The shirt and bathing suit have the same pattern, but don't match. The colors are different, and even the black lines are of different thicknesses. I've added a picture for comparison, but looking back on the listing pictures, it can be seen it those as well. I wouldn't have chosen this pattern if I had noticed that. The material is slightly on the stiff side and doesn't seem like it will breathe well. Not ideal for the warmer months when these will be worn.

I'm always a bit dubious about ordering clothing online. But this set fits as expected. I'm very happy. My husband refuses to go shirtless in the summer. He usually wears a tank top with swim shorts. I'm glad he finally has a matching set.

I ordered a small. The shorts fit perfectly, but the shirt was too tight around the chest, so passing that along to a friend. I wish there was a way to order different sizes for the two pieces.
