I got this replacement filter base plate in case the original part should ever break. I have 2 DeWalt DCV501 20v vacuums. I use one for indoor only and the other for outdoor only. After test fitting the OEM filter media and an aftermarket media on this base, I'm pleased at how easily it accepted either one without incident. The circular gasket seal is just as flexible as the OEM piece.I've decided to keep a new filter media piece mounted onto this spare base plate so should the day come I need it, it will be ready to pop into the vacuum cleaner.

This is my favorite vacuum I own so I was happy to find a replacement filter holder for my DeWalt DCV501HB. This product is a fit perfectly and made to last, my original part was run over and tabs broke. I was happy to find this generic Dewalt part at less than half the price and works just as good.
