Cómo cortar cables
Paso 1
Sujete el mango y abra la palanca de liberación.
Paso 2
Extienda el mango completamente hacia fuera, presione el desbloqueo de la cuchilla y tire de la cuchilla móvil hacia arriba.
Paso 3
Introduzca el cable y empuje la cuchilla móvil hacia abajo hasta que el cable encaje firmemente en la cuchilla.
Paso 4

The only issue i have is that when your cutting wire and you open it up it releases the blade but if you get it just rite it goes pretty good....I've had it for a week and have cut anything from #10 stranded to 450mcm 5wire

I was a bit skeptical when I bought these, unsure if they would perform on the job. I managed to use them last week a few times. The ratcheting action is very smooth, ideal for use after spiking underground cable to splice. It was probably one of the easier rachet tools I used for that sort of thing. Resetting it to use again and again is a little awkward, but I'm going to chaulk that up to my own unfamiliarity with the tool for now. Given time, I suspect it'll get easier to use quickly.It cuts through aluminum cable easily. There's no straining to make the cut. So far the only notable issue is that use messed up the paint job on the cutting teeth, but i suppose that can't be helped. The blades themselves seem to handle the cuts okay and don't appear damaged at all. I'll have to use them a bit longer to see if they've got lasting power, but so far they seem to work as well as the manufacturer intends. Would recommend getting one if you do underground electrical work and need a rachet cutter of some kind.
