I gave this as a gift to a 7 yr old child who was just getting interested in rock collection. He absolutely loved it. Tons of rocks and a book that had information on the different rocks

I purchased this set for my grandson who has shown a budding interest in geology as he’s learning about volcanoes, tectonic plates and the periods of time that we use to describe the evolution of the planet.I thought that it might be an idea to nurture his interest in a more tactile and physical activity by presenting him with this exciting mixture of gems and minerals and the identification chart and characteristics definitions contained there in. I also purchased a small magnifying glass and one with an ultraviolet sensor to aid in matching the gems to the images and descriptions in the charts.His response has been most encouraging and has also peaked the interest of his other siblings, cousins and friends. So, all good and positive and I might now find myself as the founder of a whole new society.The product itself, is good value for the money, well packaged, fully comprehensively designed with characteristics chart included. Delivered promptly and I was able to track it through every single step of the whole process.
