Perfect summer solution for multi-purpose use. Meaning, I was looking for "shorts" to wear at our cottage, on the Chesapeake Bay, Breezy Point, Md. I am petite (5'1), but not thin. I'm 75 and I feel comfortable wearing short-shorts down there, but not in town, where our permanent home is located. Or, if I had to go to the doctor or dentist either at the beach, or here in Silver Spring. The material drapes nicely and so these could definitely be used for dress. I checked and the material does dry quickly, when wet. Only issue for me is that the tie does not thread from the front to the back. My waist is still on the small size so I will put a few, small tucks in the back. This is not a game changer for me. I'm ordering several more pairs, because when I find something I like, I stock a few back-ups, in case the maker drops the style. Best, Emily

Fits and looks great, but this is first pair I've bought without built in "underwear liner". So if you're expecting that, as I was, not for you. I'd return if I didn't live where I can just wear them as shorts.

Very good quality as expected from Nautica. However there is no drawstring in the waist just ties at the front. I need the room in the hips but then cannot cinch the waist enough for a good fit. But they are a good product, comfortable to wear and dry quickly. Your proportions just need to be right

These shorts are very large. Ordered a small and these were huge!!!
