Got this as a costume piece as crest is same as a symbol from a video game getting another one as a necklace one will be belt buckle

This lightweight pendant is a little chintzier looking than the photos show. First of all, it is around 2.4" inches long in both directions (not 1.3: inches as stated in the text). I took a picture with a ruler to show the diameter is closer to 2.4" inches. So it wears pretty large actually. The paint job of the actual item is better than the sales pictures. The chain is reap cheap and feels like it could break easily. I was expecting something a little bit better, as it stands it resembles something for a costume rather than a nicer piece of jewelry. I was thinking of keeping it or using it as a gift, but I may just donate it. It would match well with something of this red color, otherwise it just looks sort of cheap and costumey.

I got this one for my husband, but I think I'm gonna keep it for myself. Just watched a whole thing on the Templars, and think they were a very cool order of knights. I was surprised when this arrived how large the cross is. The red enameling makes it stand out even more. I'm not thrilled about the chain - doesn't seem as elegant as the cross itself - but I'll figure out what to hang it from. I think the design is the Maltese Cross, but it could just be the Templar cross. I'm not as into history as my boys. Still, I love it as a piece of jewelry and a cool reference back to history as well. Would work well for your history buff, renaissance faire attire or general theatricals too.
