I bought this to connect a 5.1" and a 5.9" hose section. The 5.1" fits fine but the 5.9" does not fit

This worked great at converting the exhaust from a portable ac to an aftermarket window kit.

With this it has BOTH! But you need to first be able to know that if using the "inner" for the 5.1 inch hose, you might just have to push it on. Because it could look backwards... Just flip it around & then screw it on. Whether you just push it on or screw the hose on like a bottle cap It does work.I actually used this to join two Portable Air Conditioner Hoses together for the "EXHAUST HOSE" for the ease of having the portable A/C about 10 feet from the window!Also a little hint..... Put a one end of stockings{Pantyhose on the intake side & just use it for the air intake from your room. That way you're not bringing in HOT AIR from outside on the warmest of days.
