Not a good product. Tried it on many 4.4mm dongle dacs and it doesn't work on any of them.

I got this 4.4 balanced cable for my new zx707, and it work great, and definitely sound way better than normal 3.5 cable!

I bought this cable to connect my iFi Zen Phono's balanced 4.4mm output to my iFI Zen CAN Signature 6XX's single ended 3.5mm input so that I can listen to my vinyl with my headphones. I had considered a 4.4mm to RCA cable (male), however those are at least double the cost of the 4.4mm to 3.5mm cables.For $28, the cable is still pricey for what it is, but considering the competition on Amazon, this cable is probably the best you can get for $28 in terms of length of cable, balanced 4.4mm to 3.5mm. Quality of the cable and the ends look decent. And most important of all, the cable works flawlessly with my equipment. The sound is clean. No odd noises, hisses or interference was heard through my Sennheiser HD660S. So if you need this type of cable for whatever reason your usage is... this will work.

Works great for plugging my balanced source connection into a stereo auxiliary input.My Sony Walkman has both a 4.4mm balanced and 3.5mm stereo output. Using the stereo output with a standard stereo auxiliary cable (a high quality one) sounds duller and has less clarity and the bass has less punch.Good product.Edit: FYI.. going from a balanced source to an unbalanced receiver has no audio benefit over an unbalanced source to an unbalanced receiver.. with all else being the same. The above comment was just new product placebo. It's a high quality cable though with good connections.
