Only connection is via an out dated USB-A. If all your equipment is old that is fine, but in todays tech world they should include a female USB-A to USB-C cord. Otherwise, it's working fine so far.

I've been using a high-end name-brand webcam for years, and decided to give this one a chance. I was not expecting an upgrade, but to say it was an upgrade would be an understatement. This thing is just as good as professional video cameras that cost so much more than this. Yes, the image clarity is pristine, good enough to broadcast and make youtube videos. I'm still in awe how good the detail is, especially in motion. This is going to replace a camera that costed three times the price.The quality just blows my mind. The manual features are great and easy to use. I have barely used the mic because I mainly use this with an Audio Technica, but is picks up sound surprisingly great from all around the room, even low conversations from twenty feet away can be picked up by this, which is great, but be aware!I VERY HIGHLY recommend this!!!

I am pleasantly surprised by how good this webcam is. The clarity is very serviceable with autofocus and 4K capabilities (although they seem to be software-driven at upper levels), and its plug-and-play connectivity on my Mac is easy and functional. I don't use the onboard mic in my desk setup, but it is definitely adequate with a steady and even sound profile. There are a lot of small but high-end features that really make this a good choice for my setup, like the red status light that lets you know it's connected and activated and a built-in lens cover to guarantee privacy for those times you worry about camera access from unwanted sources, or just want to make sure you are only visible to those you choose during personal video calls and meetings. The adjustable mounting bracket also gives tons of options for placement on the top of a monitor, laptop lid, or television.Overall, this is definitely a good choice if you need a very good webcam for your setup without breaking the bank on high-quality but somewhat high-priced options from brands like Logitech.

This webcam was very easy to setup. All I had to do was plug it into my computers USB A port and open it up in the settings device menu. Once I activated the camera a settings menu came up where I could adjust the picture, sound and various other settings.The video looks very clear and nice, and I love that there is a cover to block the camera with. The camera was also easy to rest on top of the monitor of my desktop and laptop computers. The camera can be adjusted up, down and side to side. There are two nice speakers so that you are heard clearly. This is a very nice webcam.
